S.B. 2250  RELATING TO MEAL BREAKS                       LRE, WAM
        Requiring employers to provide employees with meal
        breaks.

S.B. 2256  RELATING TO MEAL BREAKS                       LRE, WAM
        Requires employers to provide meal breaks after five
        hours of work.

S.B. 2061  RELATING TO PUBLIC OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES     LRE, WAM
        AND EMPLOYMENT PRACTICES
        Establishes a four-year pilot project in the executive
        branch to promote fair pay.

S.B. 2171  RELATING TO DISASTER RELIEF                   LRE, WAM
        Authorizes paid leave for state employees responding
        to disasters for the American Red Cross.

S.B. 2204  MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR LITTER CONTROL    LRE, WAM
        AND BEAUTIFICATION
        Appropriates funds to strengthen the statewide litter
        control and beautification campaign and to provide
        needed funds to support the Keep America Beautiful
        system through the Community Work Day Program.

S.B. 2255  RELATING TO THE ENVIRONMENT                   LRE, WAM
        Establishes an environmental education council to
        oversee implementation of a strategic plan for
        environmental education.


 
S.B. 2338  RELATING TO AQUATIC RESOURCES                 LRE, WLH
        Prevents landowners who enter into safe harbor
        agreements or habitat conservation plans from pushing
        a species to extinction.

        DECISION MAKING TO FOLLOW, IF TIME PERMITS.

Persons wishing to testify should submit 30 copies of their
testimony to the vice-chair's office, Room 217, State Capitol, 24
hours prior to the hearing. Testimony may also be faxed if less
than 5 pages in length, to the Senate Sergeant-At-Arms Office at
586-6659 or 1-800-586-6659 (toll free for neighbor islands), at
least 24 hours prior to the hearing.  When faxing, please
indicate to whom the testimony is being submitted, the date and
time of the hearing, and the required number of copies needed for
submittal.

If you require special assistance or auxiliary aids or services
to participate in the public hearing process (i.e., sign language
interpreter, wheelchair accessibility, or parking designated for
the disabled), please contact the committee clerk 24 hours prior
to the hearing so arrangements can be made.

Public Folder.  A folder labeled "Public Folder" containing the
measures and testimonies for the hearing will be available for
shared use by members of the public.
